Community Notification: COVID-19 Response - Curfew and Semi-Lockdown notice
Updated: Jun 24, 2020
Dear Residents, As you may have read, the Yangon Regional Government has extended the existing 10 pm - 4 am curfew until Thursday, 18 June 2020, and a semi-lockdown until Friday, 15 May 2020. The Estate will remain in level 2 status and will be closed to visitors until Monday, 18 May 2020.
We continue to consult with medical experts regularly to ensure we have suitable policies in placed to ensure the health and safety of our Residents so they can continue to enjoy the wonderful environment that makes the Estate unique.
Despite the relaxation of the lockdown, we will continue to house Pun Hlaing Estate employees within the compound, and will continue to provide their food, accommodation and healthcare. This enables us to continue to provide critical services such as security and delivery in a safe and secure way.
We are maintaining the limited access policy into the Estate as it currently stands and thus remind everyone to be very cautious should you chose to travel out of the Estate for essential food, healthcare or work.
Should you show any COVID-19 symptoms, the recommendations are;
Consult professional medical advice;
Self-isolation for a minimum period of 14 days. I.e. avoid contact with others;
Notify Pun Hlaing Estate management;
Maintain good personal hygiene including washing hands well and often;
Please go to this website for the World Health Organization’s recommendation of good practices for COVID-19. Should you require any assistance we have our contact line at 1461 (from landlines within the Estate) or 09 955400911. Should you require any medical information contact Pun Hlaing Siloam Hospital hotline at 01 3684323. All of the above are preventive measures, and the Estate’s preparation are intended to allow us to respond promptly and in a transparent manner, in the event of further escalation in the situation.
