Community Notification: COVID-19 Curfew 10pm to 4am, with immediate effect until further notice

Dear Residents,


We would like to provide you with the latest updates further to our 17 April 2020 communication on COVID-19.


Following escalating infections, the Yangon Regional Government (YRG) has announced a 10pm to 4am curfew for all Yangon townships effective 18 April 2020 until further notice.


Please be assured that the Estate Management team is in constant contact with the relevant authorities; and will duly inform our residents the impact and implications of YRG decision(s). Our priority continues to be the safety of our residents and staff.

 

The following implication and movement guidelines from YRG during curfew hours:


Within the Estate: Movement: You may move around while maintaining physical distancing. However, YRG recommends limited movement only for essential services and exercises.


Outside the Estate:


Should you require to go out of the Estate, you should only do so for the following reasons;


  1. Healthcare: To go to the hospital or to a clinic for urgent medical needs.


Additional measures recommended by YRG with immediate effect:

  1. Gates: All gates of Pun Hlaing Estate to be closed at all times;

  2. Daily necessities: Should you need to go to the local shops to purchase daily necessities, you should not go out in a group of more than 2 persons.

Safe-Distancing Measures

We would also like to strongly suggest that you take stricter safe-distancing measures by staying at home and avoid any non-essential contact for the next 14 days.

COVID-19 symptoms Should you show any COVID-19 symptoms or have travel history to parts of the world infected with COVID-19, the recommendations are;


  • Consult professional medical advice;

  • Self-isolation for a minimum period of 14 days. I.e. avoid contact with others;

  • Notify Pun Hlaing Estate management;

  • Maintaining good personal hygiene including washing hands well and often.
